That Good Hair Place was created as a sanctuary for both hairdressers and clients alike who seek a space to feel safe, cared for and nurtured.

Our Hornsby Salon.

 

What you'll find at That Good Hair Place, is a space which doesn't feel like a hair salon.  It feels more like a cosy cafe, a comfy living room, or a relaxing indoor/outdoor area.  The studio is filled with natural light in summer, and a cosy ambience in winter.  You will always feel relaxed when surrounded by our beautiful plants which have all been rescued from commercial spaces, and rehomed at That Good Hair Place.  Our salon in Hornsby has lots of little imperfections and a lot of character - just like you and I!  That's what we love about it.  A welcoming environment is hugely important to your comfort, and experience.  The salon is a renovated warehouse in the semi industrial area nestled a stone's throw away from Hornsby Westfield, and a short walk from both Hornsby and Waitara train stations.  It doesn't look like a traditional salon from the street - it's our little secret!

We service our local surrounds, Waitara, Normanhurst, Westleigh, Hornsby Heights, Berowra, Mt KuRing-Gai, Asquith, Mount Colah, Wahroonga and Thornleigh.  In addition to those suburbs slightly farther out such as Warrawee, Turramurra, North Turramurra, South Turramurra, St Ives, Pymble, Gordon Beecroft, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Dural, Cherrybrook, Kenthurst   Our clients have also travel from the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Canberra.  It's safe to say, you will always travel for an amazing haircut and colour!

 

 

 

We care about your health and the environment.

We care about the environment, and we care about you.  Keeping this at the forefront of our philosophy, we have curated products which are PETA approved, cruelty free, vegan, paraben, sulfate and PPE free.   It is incredibly important that we use products that don't have nasties for your safety, as well as our stylists.  We use La Biosthetique Paris Colour and styling products as well as OWAY Haircare Products.  

 

The salon is a Sustainable Salon which saves 95% of our waste from landfill, and repurposing to help our community.  The plants in the salon are Rescue Plants that have been saved from commercial spaces and brought back to life.
